What we provide is a different way of being at sea, away from tourist seasons, crowds, and haste. Our programs start in October and finish in June – during this time, we are almost alone at sea, and the beauty of the Adriatic is multiplied by that solitude. Sailing in winter inherently implies a different relationship with the sea and the boat.
The summer search for the most beautiful bays for anchoring, buoys, or a safe berth for overnight stays shifts the focus to everything outside the boat; tourist attractions, restaurants, marinas… In winter, things are turned upside down. A person becomes dependent on themselves and the boat they need to get to know, maintain, and as much as possible – master.
Living at sea assumes and requires an individual to handle a wide range of skills: sailing, meteorology, navigation, repairs, organization, cooking, and even sleeping! Only after mastering these skills can we achieve a certain level of satisfaction and self-confidence to truly enjoy the sea.
Damir Miloš has designed programs suitable for all levels of knowledge, from beginners to experienced sailors.
“Off Basic” and “Off Advanced” sailing programs are designed to equip beginners to become competitive crew members.
The “Off Cruise” program offers the opportunity to sail the Adriatic with the presence of an instructor.
The “Off Masterclass” is the final stage of our programs in terms of the direct acquisition of new skills. It provides mentorship from Damir Miloš, where participants learn how to become the “person in charge” of the boat and the crew they take on board, i.e., how to be a skipper.
Several times a year, we also organize “Off Shore” sailings, aiming for multi-day voyages with minimal stops.
“Off Race” is designed for candidates who want to learn about regattas and take part in them.
