Off Race is designed for candidates who want to learn about regattas and take part in them.
Participants learn about starting procedures, rules, tactics, and fast sail changes. As always, the goal is to sail as fast as possible while maintaining maximum control.
The program is organized individually for each regatta, as every race is different. Most often, the program consists of several days of practice before taking part in the regatta. Regattas usually last one to two days – some are technical, while others are navigational. Depending on the type of regatta, we organize the appropriate length of the Off Race Program.
Price – 900 euros per person (maximum 6 people)
REQUIREMENT: Off Basic or equivalent skill level
INCLOUDED: Boat, instructor, sailing program, regatta fee, touristic tax, fuel, beddings and sheets, a blanket, first dinner on the boat
EXTRA EXPENSES: Food and drinks for the crew and instructor during the sailing program, potential expenses for marinas/public docks/bouys to spend the night.
OBLIGATORY GEAR: Sailing pants, sailing jacket, boots, sleeping bag.
Off Race – Gladuša – Sali (Dugi otok) – Navigational ragatta that lasts one day in April. Cca. 25nm. Regatta is on Saturday 11th April. Off Race starts at Tuesday 6th of April, and it finishes on Sunday 12th April with sailing from Sali to Vodice.
Off Race – Zlarinska regatta krstaša (Zlarin) – Navigational regatta lasting two days in April. Cca. 30nm. Frist navigation regatta is on Saturday 25th of April, second one on Sunday 26th April. Off Race starts on Monday 20th of April and finishes on Sunday 26th April after the prizes ceremony.
Off Race – Kolo Svetca (Hvar) – Navigational regatta from Hvar to Svetac and back. It starts on 1st of May. Cca. 70nm. Off Race starts on Tuesday 28th Of April and ends on 3rd of May with a sail back to Vodice.
Off Race – Round Long Island Race (Zlarin) – Navigational regatta from Zlarin around Long Island and back. October. Cca. 130nm. More info when date of the regatta is fixed.
Off Race – Jabuka (Vodice) – Navigational Regata from Vodice to Jabuka and back. Second weekend in November. Cca. 100nm. Off Race starts on Sunday before regatta and ends next Sunday after regatta prize ceremony.
